About the Show

The Other Room is a podcast about how African women are discovering their purpose through work. It features my conversations with women as they share how they have developed their careers, tackling challenges along the way. All my guests are incredibly accomplished women representing different industries.

Our conversations have been illuminating and emphasised that there are multiple definitions of success and every woman’s career trajectory will evolve at its own pace.

We will look at their career journeys, the challenges they have had along the way and the things they have learnt on the path to where they are now.

I draw on my 19-year career and 12 years running a nonprofit organisation focused on equipping girls and young women with the skills and confidence to prepare for and embark on fulfilling careers in STEM or other fields, if that is where they discover their interest lies.
